Japanese 101 - Another Use of the て form (Mini Lesson)

Learned this today, shared a few hours after learning.

If a ~みます is added after a verb in て form, it will change the meaning of the verb to "Try to"

This is naturally, formal Japanese

So for example:

I will try to eat this
Kore ga tabetemimasu
これが食べてみます
